Check Out Fisher Price Peek-A-Blocks: Shape Sorter for $9.99

Fisher Price Peek-A-Blocks: Shape Sorter Review

I'm surprised how much this costs. We've had ours for 5 years, it might not be sold in stores any more. We've had several different shape sorters, and this is one of our children's favorites. It plays music when they place the shapes in the box. We haven't had any problems with the handle like others have noted...it must depend on the age of the child. Our 1 yr old hasn't had any problems with it. This works great for different ages. At first they can just drop the shapes in the top. When they are older they can fit them through the shaped holes. My son loves to take the shapes in and out, in and out. All of our kids played with it a lot, so it was definitely worth the money and a great educational toy.

Fisher Price Peek-A-Blocks: Shape Sorter Overview

The Peek-a-Blocks Shape Sorter introduces shaped blocks to the Peek-a-Blocks line. Baby is rewarded with fun sound effects and music when they sort any of the 4 shapes; or if they just drop the shapes through the generous open top of the cube. The 4 shapes include; a star with a star-shaped spinning pinwheel inside; a circle with a round spinning sun; a square with small blocks that rattle & shake; and a triangle with a triangular shaped piece of cheese with a little mouse pop-out surprise when baby shakes the block. A handle makes it perfect for on-the-go fun.

Not the Best Shape Sorter - Amanda L. Davis - Adrian,MI USA
Because this has a completely open top, my daughter only wants to put the shapes in there instead of the right holes. I also don't like that there are only 4 shapes when you can get sorters with a lot more. The ones with more shapes are obviously more educational. I won't deny that this toy is cute, but it plays unnecessary music. I would honestly just buy a different sorter.

Okay- but the price- too much - K. Turner - Wyoming
The blocks and sorter are well made. But the price tag- too much. I dont think both of my kids got $[...] out of this toy combined. We gave it to a friends with a baby and I hope she has 4 more - then maybe we will have gotten the money out of it.

Yes, this is a great toy but sells for .99 at Babies R Us!!! Good grief-- is insanely overpriced!
